An unsettling rain descends on the township of Tarren Mill in the more reclusive region of Hillsbrad Foothills, regarded indifferently only by those inhabitants returned from death. A hooded Forsaken, garbed in the Royal Apothecary Society's attire, departs the town apothecary, momentarily kicking up a tiny spore cloud from the building's recesses. The hunched, bony figure approaches a gothic gazebo situated prominently in the town center. Black candles which burn an eerie green somehow persist their flames to spite the drizzle overhead are placed symmetrically around the dark gazebo, and the combination from below and above paint a grim atmosphere for the apothecary who steps up to one of the poster boards erected from the ground. The silhouette of paper being plastered to the board is visible through the rain, and to any audacious enough to read it are greeted by a sharp, refined handwriting written in Gutterspeak (conversational Orcish translations are hastily written at the bottom).

Hello, hello! Well, for starters, this weekend I'm going to be hosting a precursory event involving the Forsaken & their apothecaries. Continuation and longer, more involved events related to this as a precursor are dependent upon whether or not the event is a success/popular with the community. (Suffice it to say, I'm trying some different things out here, so feedback is always appreciated!) I expect it will be a fairly short event, though I intend to make it interesting and memorable regardless!
